天文台改發8號信號

天文台宣布，八號東南烈風或暴風信號在晚上10時15分發出。

預料本港吹東南風，平均風速每小時超過62公里。在晚上10時，颱風 啟德 集結在香港以南約270公里，即在北緯19.9度，東經113.9度附近，預料向西北偏西移動，時速約25公里，大致移向廣東西部沿岸。

按照現時預測路徑，啟德會在未來數小時最接近香港，在本港西南偏南250公里內掠過。本港風力將會進一步增強。八號熱帶氣旋警告信號將會維持一段時間。市民應提高警惕，請留意天文台最新熱帶氣旋消息。

在過去一小時，大老山及長洲分別錄得的最高持續風速為每小時75及62公里。

中午前後考慮改發1號波

「啟德」將繼續遠離香港，若本港風力進一步減弱，天文台會在中午前後考慮改發1號戒備信號。

3號強風信號現正生效，預料本港平均風速每小時41至62公里。

在上午10時，颱風啟德集結在香港之西南偏西約360公里，即在北緯20.7度，東經111.1度附近，預料向西北偏西移動，時速約25公里，移向雷州半島。

本港初時西部海域仍普遍吹強風，而高地間中吹烈風。啟德將繼續遠離香港，若果本港風力進一步減弱，天文台會在中午前後考慮改發一號戒備信號。

在過去1小時，長洲及青洲分別錄得的最高持續風速為每小時55及41公里。

預 料 本 港 吹 東 北 風 ， 平 均 風 速 每 小 時 超 過 62 公 里 。

在 下 午 6 時 ， 颱 風 韋 森 特 集 結 在 香 港 以 南 約 170 公 里 ， 即 在 北 緯 20.8 度 ， 東 經 114.4 度 附 近 ， 預 料 向 西 北 偏 西 移 動 ， 時 速 約 20 公 里 ， 大 致 移 向 廣 東 西 部 沿 岸 。

韋 森 特 繼 續 穩 定 地 移 近 廣 東 西 部 沿 岸 。 本 港 普 遍 風 力 正 進 一 步 增 強 。 按 照 現 時 預 測 路 徑 ， 韋 森 特 在 今 晚 至 明 早 會 於 香 港 西 南 150 公 里 左 右 掠 過 。 八 號 烈 風 或 暴 風 信 號 將 會 在 晚 間 維 持 。

在 過 去 一 小 時 ， 橫 瀾 島 、 西 貢 及 赤 鱲 角 分 別 錄 得 的 最 高 持 續 風 速 為 每 小 時 86、59 及 42 公 里 。
